Berkshire Boar Walter 14-6 Bred by: Grant, Nelson & Kedron Knobloch
Owned by: Grant, Nelson & Kedron Knobloch Sire: Time Bandit 4-4
Dam’s Sire: Making History
Registration: 110630006
This boy is extremely good. He puts together a balanced package that can be challenging to find in Berks. Adam Conover said, “I would definitely use that boar.” Neil Mauck described him as “one of the heaviest boned Berks he has seen. He’s not just level, he runs uphill.” Walter is extremely correct, big bone, tall fronted, moderate frame, square, wide, super flexible, big wide-spread blades, long rump, and attractive muscle shape. According to his namesake, “…and that’s the way it is” (Walter Cronkite). Randy Shipley described King Indy as “the most unique Berkshire boar he has seen. Big feet, spread toes, big bone, square, sound, flexible, tremendous reach and drive, wide spread shoulder blades, big top, massive center body. This guy is like a crossbred.” Why talk about King Indy? Because these features describe his dad–Walter. Top pictures – 16 months Bottom picture – 6 months Ranks in the top 20% of all Berkshire Boars in the Progeny Test on 6 out of 7 Meat Quality Traits |

Hereford Boar Tuff-E-Nuff 2-5 Sire: Ready To Rumble Tuff-E-Nuff is out of the last semen collection from Ready To Rumble. He is wide-chested with a cool extended head and neck. He is tall-fronted with a wide and level top. This guy is extremely good in his look, design and profile. He has correct wide-spread toes, good bone, and extremely flexible in his reach off his rear legs. This guy was not fed any show feed or Paylean. He was also running fence side with some gilts. He is a really good Hereford boar and we are excited to put this rugged-made Ready to Rumble son to work. We brought him home and he busted out of his pen because he wanted to get some action. Is he good enough? No he is Tuff-E-Nuff! |

Big Wheel 30-8 Berkshire Boar Bred by: Knobloch Family Berks Owned by: Knobloch Family Berks Sire: Wheels Up Dam’s Sire: Walter x Gary Coleman DOB: 12/22/14 Registration: 129322008 Sold: Thanks to Ben Fisher, Oklahoma We debated a long time about what to do with this guy because he has a bit more white than what we would like to see on a Berkshire boar. He was impressive as a young prospect, and so we decided to keep him intact. As he grew and matured, he continued to impress us and we are glad he still has his hardware. This boar is uniquely designed with a set of running gear that are truly set wide and he motors freely on all four wheels. He is tall-fronted, level-topped, and square-hipped. He is heavy boned and puts together a look that will make crossbred breeders take a second look. We think this guy has something to offer. His parents are pictured below – note they have excellent breed character. |

Cobra 4-9 Berkshire Boar Sire: Hostile Takeover Dam’s Sire: Gary Coleman Bred by: Grant, Nelson & Kedron Knobloch Registration: 117254009 Sold: Private treaty – Thanks! Cobra was named because of the many compliments he received. Specifically, Travis Perry shared, “The front half of your boar is one of the best I’ve seen for a Berkshire.” Cobra is a stylish show-type boar. He balances up extremely well with a moderate frame size, attractive muscle shape, and excellent feet and legs. This up-headed boar has a clean head and neck, is opened-wide in his chest floor, explodes out of his blades, which flows into a jet-level top, big rib and powerful hip. This guy is super well-designed and takes big, long strides. He just floats…and runs around looking for a sow to breed. He is out of one of our best sows. He missed a step getting off the trailer at the Indiana State Fair and he was tentative on his left leg…that’s how it goes sometimes. He placed 3rd in Class 2, but was clearly the powerhouse boar in the class. We brought him home and he is doing well now.
